The employment anniversary is an opportunity to acknowledge a worker’s service, and this can be done economically. At PureFUN!, we print certificates of recognition on bordered paper from an office supply store. Todd Harrison, President of PureFUN!, signs them, and they are mounted in inexpensive photo frames for display in offices and cubicles. An employment anniversary also can be noted in an email to all staff and/or on a company bulletin board with a digital photo. Such recognition boosts pride of service.
We also hold an annual employee recognition get-together. During this get-together our President recognizes each employee with a service anniversary to the rest of the company.
